Building competence from Ghana to East Timor
Building measurement competence from Ghana to East Timor

The Michelsen Centre is an active partner in the Norwegian government's programme 'Oil for Development' created to assist developing 'economically, environmentally and socially responsible management of petroleum resources' in emerging oil producing nations.

This is in line with our obligation to create benefits to the society in general and to have an international profile. Read more here about the Norwegian governmental programme Oil for Development' where our first course was held in Ghana in March 2013 link.

We had the pleasure of welcoming course participants from East Timor to a combined course in Uncertainty - ISO (GUM) link and fiscal metering in May 2013.

Our three-day industry courses link are tailored as introductions to major applications of measurement technology and offer not only lectures, but also time for discussions based on the participants' own experiences and needs. Interactive exercises and demonstrations are an integrated part.
