The Michelsen Centre explores the potential of nanotechnology in instrumentation and oil

The Michelsen Centre will give two talks at www.coms2012.com in Tønsberg June 24-27 which is the 17th annual conference on commercializing micro- and nanotechnology.
The accepted contributions are:
- Optical instrumentation challenges in subsea and maritime environments and potential applications for nanotechnology, given by Scientist Benny Svardal (Christian Michelsen Research)
- Nanotechnology and oil, given by Professor Bodil Holst from the Nanolab at the University of Bergen
COMS brings together leaders from all over the world and every sector of industry, from high tech companies, national labs, regional development and government agencies, investment and consulting groups, market researchers, educators and students, all sharing, learning and creating partnerships in an open interactive setting.
